Today in 1967
A day like today, but in1967. It makes the photo shoot for the cover of Sgt Pepper's LP, with PeterBlake as head of the assembly, Jann Haworth'sassistant and photographer Michael Cooper. Themeeting was held in the Cooper study, at No. 4,Chelsea Manor Studios. Each Beatle made a list of their favorite characters. Jesus and Hitler were on the list of John Lennon, but had to be removed, like Gandhi as the head of EMI, Sir JosephLockwood said that India would not allow publication of the disk. After the shoot, the Beatlesreturned to Abbey Road studios to work in "With alittle help from my friends".
